Our History
As a young man, Mike Kessimakis left his home in Souda, Crete with the promise of life in America. After working in the steel mills of West Virginia, the steel mills of Ohio and a hospital in Florida, he moved to his new home in Murray, Utah. He founded Kessimakis Produce in 1937 with the goal of bringing the same quality and integrity he had experienced in his homeland of Greece to his new home in Utah.

service from the Wasatch Front to Ogden and Provo. Today grandsons, Michael and James, carry Kessimakis Produce forward as we serve our customers and take great pride in the four generations of excellence that keeps our clients coming back for the BEST wholesale produce in Utah.

The produce industry has a rating service that grades companies in the produce business. Kessimakis Produce is proud to have the highest rating in each category. What this means to our customers is that growers and packers want to do business with Kessimakis. They know we act with integrity and pay promptly. We can buy from the best growers and negotiate the best prices. These prices are always passed on to our customers that buy our wholesale produce.
ORGANIC PRODUCE
We want to supply our customers with the best and freshest wholesale produce. Organic produce is always availabe but must be ordered in advance. Any questions about availability can be answered by James Kessimakis. Let his 25+ years of buying experience work for you. Your customers will love knowing that you offer them the highest quality organics.
Food Safety
Food safety has always been a top priority here at Kessimakis Produce.
During 2011 we completed a million dollar renovation of our warehouse so that we would meet or exceed all government regulations. Copies of our Good Manufacturing Practice, USDA Inspections and Third Party Audit, the most comprehensive inspection in our industry, are available to our customers upon request.
